Talladega Foundry had it's beginning in 1909 and has been in continuous operation. During its history, Talladega Foundry has produced a variety of castings, servicing in the early years the textile industry.

Today, Talladega Foundry is a jobbing shop producing both gray and ductile iron and aluminum castings for many different industries and ornamental applications. In 2001, Talladega Foundry poured over 2000 tons of iron and currently employs 60 skilled craftsmen.



The foundry produces castings used in numerous types of industrial applications from pumps to hydraulic valves to pole line hardware.

Talladega Foundry has the capability of producing patterns from existing castings or drawings. Talladega Foundry produces one of a kind items up to runs of thousands of pieces. On a regular basis, the foundry pours castings from as small as one ounce up to 4,000 pounds.
